The majority of ductwork in Oklahoma is made of PVC with galvanized steel connections or transite (asbestos & cement). Most vent boots are made with galvanized steel.

Yes, according to the US Department of Energy, between 10-50% of conditioned air is lost during transit through the air ducts. Leaky air ducts is a recognized problem, especially in hard-to-reach or otherwise inaccessible spaces. Our rubberized coating will help seal leaky ducts making your system more efficient and possibly save you some money!
Yes. Our proprietary coating is water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally safe. It has a high zinc content to prevent mold growth and is comprised of over 50% adhesives. It has a NFPA Class A fire rating. It contains no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) so there is no out-gassing of bad stuff in the short or long term. You can stay in your home as we apply it, and you will be using your HVAC before our technicians pull away from your property.
Besides the age of your home, the easiest way is to visually look at your return air vents or your supply vent cover for signs of rust, dirt or debris. Most systems should be cleaned every 3-5 years if filters have been properly maintained. A few tell-tale signs of a problem with your system is gurgling (water in system), sand (visible sand in or around floor duct), low or restricted air flow in certain areas and visible rust in duct boot.
